(Orange Cat Lentigo)

lentigo pl. lentigines [L.] a flat, brownish pigmented spot on the skin due to increased deposition of melanin and an increased number of melanocytes; a freckle.

I. simplex pigmented macules develop in orange cats from about I year of age, mainly on the lips. They are of no significance. Called also orange cat lentigo.
